Weight Loss & Diet Pills And Supplements – Gimmicks Or otherwise?

“Take the azure pill…take the red pill…?”… recall the series?

“Take the blue pill…take the white pill…?”… recall the series?

These are the first words uttered… the movie series is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is the fact that “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is dwelling in a planet of controlled perception. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the “movement” in the movie, is leading younger Neo by way of a crazy ride of “reality” vs. perception. As with the film it’s the job of mine, as a personal trainer, to guide individuals with a trip in perception.

Even during “real-life” it appears as if we, as depicted in this film, simply think that taking a medicine is able to provide us all the solutions to our desires. My question for you is…”Do you believe all the problems of yours could be remedied by snapping a pill?” Do you truly assume that answers come from drugs or perhaps do you assume that answers originate from individual responsibility? I guess the actual issue is…”Do you trust “cure” or prevention?

In addition to the quirky video comparison… What’s the perspective of yours as connected with health, body, and better living? Does better living originated from much better pharmacology? Sure…I estimate large numbers of lives are saved from disease, hereditary failures, and illness. Do we accept responsibility for the behavior of ours that contributes straight to bad health and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even if the hottest weight reduction pill did work – Can it be going to work life long? What are the risks connected with many of the newest keto diet pills pills? Almost any pill we take has a “side-effect” attached to its use in many men and women. It seems people are ready to pay basically anything to get the hands of theirs on the hottest diet pill, or weight loss gimmick out there. Worse – prescription drugs are passed out like candy to a large number of thousands of obese folks. As most people know a number of these medications have shown to be pretty dangerous, even deadly.

I speculate many of the inquiries as well as frustrations I receive from folks relevant to fitness, exercise, and preventative activity, can easily be traced back to one very important as well as essential question: Are we a cure driven society or perhaps a prevention driven society? Will it make sense that the most up carbo-blocker, fat burner or maybe weight loss pill is going to reverse years of very poor living? Do you really think that your personal responsibility is often absolved by a pill?

Lets’ grab the general model of “dieting” for example: one system works like this, you take many pills in the morning – enjoy a nutritional shake in the late afternoon, chug down yet another small number of pills by late evening, and eat a boxed, pre-portioned, special dinner at night. OK. – What happens when you are going off this diet program? I estimate all of the stunning results just vanish entirely! Of course, they let you know to take this product, subsequently that product…then hold your breath for ten seconds while jumping up and down…ok…ok, I am getting taken away – I am aware. The point is; in case you have to take the special pills and do the specific diet you just won’t undertake it for long – that is why it is called a diet program. The name itself assures the person that it is something that you start as well as stop! Not any, friends – better living is not one thing you begin & stop, it’s a thing you reap some benefits from if you accept responsibility for the proper care of your body and health.

So what’s the answer? Effectively, my answer is asking yourself some really important questions.

One; Will you think that individual responsibility supersedes a cure all (diet pill)?
