Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana Act: A Money Maker With Health Benefits

Sticking to the lead of twenty three other states, Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Wolfe made history right here on April 17 by signing The Medical Marijuana Act (SB3) into law. Two days later, he switched up in King of Prussia to tout the bi-partisan legislation before “jubilant” crowds, saying, “This is all about helping peoples’ lives, about helping individuals who are likely to be better, faster. They’re likely to feel good and that’s just such a rewarding thing.”

And he could just be right, as our law extends to conditions as:

The law is set to go into effect upcoming month, although it could take eighteen to 24 months to build all of the laws and get retailers up and operating to sell us medical marijuana. The standards, however, are already set for keeping track of the crops, certifying doctors, and licensing growers, dispensaries, and physicians. Additionally decided: It’ll only be obtainable in pill, oil, vapor, ointment, or liquid form. Certainly no smoking allowed, growing, either.

It’s all been a long time coming…

Our Jamestown settlers delta 8 in chicago (www.kirklandreporter.com) fact brought marijuana to our shores way back in 1611 once they established the very first permanent English settlement here. By the 1890’s it had been turning up in a wide variety of medicines and was freely sold in pharmacies. After that in the 1920’s, Mexican immigrants introduced us to its recreational use, and the rest, as they claim, is history.
